Clinical Services
Individual and group therapy are available to youth while in our group home and crisis shelter. Outpatient therapy is available one the youth departs our shelter or group home.
We value everyone’s unique experiences and are dedicated to ensuring that all individuals feel heard, respected, and valued. Our goal is to identify and build upon individuals’ strengths, resources, and coping strategies within a nonjudgmental, accepting, and supportive environment. We employ evidence-based practices for mental health intervention, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strength-based programming.
YCC also conducts Addiction Severity Index assessments for adolescents in the community, offering insights into substance use and related issues. Our substance abuse services include an 8-hour ASAM 0.5 substance abuse class and an ASAM 1.0 Relapse Prevention Group to support individuals in their recovery journey.
Our counseling services provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can openly express themselves and explore their emotions, thoughts, and concerns. Our team of compassionate counselors specializes in working with young people, addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and family dynamics. We believe in creating a supportive space where youth and families can develop coping strategies, build resilience, and work toward achieving mental and emotional well-being.
